A tribute.....

Well firstly, before I talk about the happy stuff I just want to reflect on one distinct change that has happened within our little school community recently and that is the passing of one of our teachers Shakira. Shakira had been part of the school since before I became involved and she was such a lovely lady. She sadly passed away from complications following childbirth.
Although we did all we could to help her get access to good medical care there was nothing that could be done to save her. We have lost a great member of our school......but I will always have fond memories......her little baby boy is now living in the village with the fathers family. RIP Shakira xx Let us all be so very grateful for the medical access we have in the developed world.
